Credit Risk Management Services (CRMS) team is an integral part of the Market Operations team and is primarily responsible for Credit Limit monitoring and Legal documentation review process for clients. The current opening is in the Documentation Unit, which objectives are to exercise a central independent control of credit documentation to act as a support function to the Relationship, Risk and Product Managers and to help protect Citigroup against the risks of inadequate documentation which might result in financial loss for the bank. Role / Position Overview The Documentation Control Officer/Associate handles the day-to-day credit documentation control related administration tasks.
Receives, reviews for accuracy, approves and provides custody of original credit, support and collateral documentation for credit exposures. Ensure original documents are held and the signature has been verified. Detects the required documents for the credit facilities approved for the client in line with Citibank Credit Policy.
Registers the documents into the credit system, scans and arranges the safekeeping of them. Tracks the deferred, deficient, expiring and expired documents and provides our Business/Risk partners with regular reports.
Coordinates with Relationship Managers/Risk and Legal Counsel to ensure standard, enforceable and approved documents are held to protect the bank.
Completes timely imaging and archiving either on site or offsite of documentation in accordance with Record Retention Policy.

Gain experience in liaising with corporate Relationship Managers, Risk, Trading/Sales and other Back office Office/Market Operations Counterparts.
The position offers a wide range of tasks to give the candidate to build a solid foundation of Risk Operations expertise as well as business/products and credit policy knowledge.

An interest and general understanding of the financial services industry Desirable: extensive years of banking operations or equivalent experience
Results/task orientated with excellent attention to detail.

Computer literate and ability to grasp several in house systems quickly.
