We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Strategic Delivery Manager.
This manager role will coordinate various Global Commercial Banking platform design projects of the Global Commercial Banking Actionable Intelligence platform, including but not limited to platform enhancements related to Sales Triggers, Risk Triggers, integration, via API for example with other HSBC platforms, systems and processes; workflow designs involving multiple parties in a case, improving user experience, customer profile displays based on available data, user interface and platform layout designs and access control design
This role requires strong analytical and problem solving skills to translate business requirements, policies and procedures into design requirements.
The role holder is responsible to lead a small project team and work closely and hands-on with internal, for example Senior Business Partners and external stakeholders in design, development, UAT and implementation of the system enhancements, to ensure the functionality meets original requirement and objective.
This role provides trouble shooting support on existing platform functionality and any enhancements and fixes required to ensure smooth end user experience.
The role holder will have direct responsibility for ensuring that all activity supports sustainable growth, and improved process and automation in a responsible way to meet regulatory and customer needs.
The role is critical to the Global Commercial Banking Strategy for the CESD function to fulfill the Global Commercial Banking SBO requirements.
Coordinate a small project team of Business Analyst and Testing Manager to design, develop and test new Commercial Banking AI system enhancements;
Responsible for producing complete and quality Design Briefs, Design Documents and User Stories, end-to-end
Work with Senior Strategic Delivery Managers on providing trouble shooting support on existing platform functionality
Work closely with internal team members, for example Senior Business Partner, Analytics, Implementation and external stakeholders for exmaple IT developers to successfully deliver the respective Commercial Banking AI system enhancements to front-end users, for exmaple Commercial Banking frontlines
Ensure the platform enhancements delivered are fit for purpose, compatible with current policy and procedure and processes, and achieve original purposes, in order to meet the overall objective of Global Commercial Banking Customer Intelligence;
Shape the development and enhancements of Actionable Intelligence platform and workflows, Surveillance or Customer Profiles, Actionable Intelligence Triggers, with the objective to continuously enhance Commercial Bankingfrontline's user experience and the system's effectiveness as an opportunity and risk identifier, while upholding the principals of simplification, sustainability and transparency in the system designs
Advocate and promote the use of data analytics to drive fact-based activity and behaviour in Commercial Banking Globally;
Engage various stakeholders to understand and collect project requirement, present analysis and results, make recommendations on strategy formulation and solicit project feedback.
University degree in relevant disciplines
Significant years of relevant work experience
Good understanding of banking operations and processes, preferably in Commercial Banking context
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with project/collaboration tools such as JIRA, Sharepoint and Confluence will be advantageous
Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
Ability to navigate within the organization
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Team player with ability to work with offshore resources
Fluent written and spoken English
