We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Associate Director, Global Banking and Markets.
Represent Global Banking and Markets Regulatory Compliance on Project Steering Committee and Project Governance Meeting as required
Provide guidance and advice on cross Global Banking and Markets Regulatory Compliance topics such as outsourcing, cross border data issues, digital, registration, licensing and migration.
Support implementation of Global Banking and Markets business initiatives and policies.
Working with the heads of the Regulatory Compliance department help support the strategic approach for structure and governance.
Drive consistent Best Practice for Regulatory Compliance activities and streamline the process.
Implementation of Global Regulatory Compliance initiatives for Global Banking and Markets regulatory Compliance.
Be the Regulatory Compliance Lead or Subject Matter Expert on major transformation initiatives within Global Banking and Markets Regulatory Compliance as required.
Experienced professional from the global financial services industry.
Knowledge of all Global Banking and Markets products.
Experience of the HSBC Group, its culture, policies and procedures, or similar global organizations.
Excellent communication and influencing skills such as strong written and oral communication skills demonstrated by a history of writing reports and making oral presentations to senior staff.
The ability to lead a team in a demanding cross border and complex regulatory environment
Knowledge and high levels of experience of regulatory rules and approaches from around the world
Experience dealing directly with regulators on complex issues.
Experience of managing complex global projects
The ability to lead and motivate compliance officers to a high level in multiple locations.
Sound and proven judgment and analytic capabilities.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with senior staff within an organisation and representing senior leadership externally.
