Context for the role: Prudential PLC intends to demerge M&G Prudential and the latter needs a Creative Services Manager to help support M&G Prudential's obligations as an independent listed business and ensure the smooth operation of the Corporate Affairs function and the service it provides to the business. This role will manage the design, development and print and production of core corporate collateral, and to ensure that corporate brand guidelines are adhered to across the business.
Whilst the business is primarily UK based, the scope of the role is global and covers the existing footprint of the business in Europe, Asia and US and will be accountable for providing support globally as required.
Purpose statements: · Manage the end-to-end design and production process for core on and off-line corporate collateral ensuring alignment with brand guidelines (including brochures, reports, advertising, event & display materials and collateral for other corporate projects and initiatives such as sponsorships, internal communications etc) · Establish and oversee a project management process for corporate collateral activities including briefing, execution, approvals, sign off and budget controls · Run tenders to appoint agencies and subsequently manage the day-to-day relationships with corporate design and production agencies, acting as key point of contact and ensuring quality control across all activities · Establish and manage a process for ensuring we maintain our knowledge of 'best in class' creative services agencies providing a wide range of design, print and production services · Build understanding and awareness of the corporate brand guidelines among users, and to act as an advisor on their application across corporate materials and channels · Work closely with teams including Company Secretariat, Finance, HR and Investor Relations to deliver key corporate documents such as the Annual Report · Work with senior leaders to produce advanced PowerPoint and other presentation collateral for use at internal and external speaking events
Knowledge statements: · Understanding of the M&G Prudential business, brand, people and customer strategies. · Commercially focused with experience of ensuring corporate collateral and materials are delivered within agreed budgets and deadlines. · Proven knowledge of design, print and production · Proven knowledge of project management with advanced creative and PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills. · Advanced proofreading/sub editing skills
