The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the financial planning and analysis for Global Solutions, which incorporates TMF's various service lines. The role focuses on budgeting, reporting, and inputting into business cases and commercial strategy. The job holder will partner with the Global Solutions team, as well as stakeholders in Group Finance team, Sales and IT.
Responsible for financial planning and analysis for Global Solutions.
Budgeting: management of all Service Lines costs budgets, budgets validations and forecasting.
Financial Reporting: reporting against KPIs, periodic/monthly financial performance, reporting on pipeline, revenue and costs tracking across all Service Lines.
Business Development / Strategy: financial evaluation of Business Cases, commercial models, Revenue and strategy forecasting.
Responsible for the data quality of the Global Solutions financial reporting
Oversees the forecast process and inputs into strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation
Act as an effective interface between Finance and Global Solutions, for example when liaising with country/regional finance leaders to define revenue figures for each service line as part of the annual budgeting exercise.
May have input into control and risk and governance frameworks, in collaboration with Global Solutions leadership
Recognised as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in their business area
Key knowledge and experience:
Significant experience in commercial finance
Knowledge of relevant industries would be beneficial, but not essential
Adept at business partnering and influencing stakeholders at all levels
Strong analytical skills
Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders
Understands TMF Groups' business lines, regulatory requirements and how the organisation is structured.
Utilises expert knowledge and past experience to drive improvements and deliver best-practice service
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
Understands the financial implications of decisions on both the business area and Group 'bottom line'.
Competent with Microsoft Office, including Excel
Can articulate and demonstrate the impact (financial, etc.) of their role and activities on the business area.
