The Financial Services Corporate Finance team is looking for an Executive to join this high performing team and support the execution of a strong pipeline of opportunities.
The Corporate Finance team differentiates itself in the UK market as the sole Financial Services focused team advising across the complete capital spectrum including both M&A and Debt Advisory. Our client base ranges from large-cap financial institutions to private equity houses and entrepreneurial businesses. Our advisory services cover the following key strategic options: business option reviews, acquisitions, disposals, JVs and raising of equity and/or debt capital to pursue capital restructuring, inorganic or organic growth strategies.
As a member of the Corporate Finance team, an Executive will gain exposure to a broad range of different transaction and financing-led situations, across the spectrum of equity and debt advisory. We place a strong emphasis on providing team members with the opportunity to build experiences across various sectors within the Financial Services landscape.

Your key responsibilities
Absorb new technical information fast, and quickly develop a deep understanding of the strategic rationale for transactions.
Perform valuation analysis using a range of methodologies including DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions and LBO analysis.
Research and analyse key value drivers at a market and business level.
Prepare client reports advising on fund-raising, restructuring, acquisitions and disposals.
Prepare information memoranda for our clients or produce detailed research on target profiles for acquisitions.
Undertake modelling as appropriate for an M&A or debt transaction.
Prepare pitch documents to support the teams ongoing origination efforts to develop the already established pipeline of opportunities.
Skills and attributes for success
Apply core technical and commercial skills to a variety of situations.
Model the financial implications of transactions and financing events.
Creative in the sourcing and use of information and able to make sensible assumptions where appropriate.
Take responsibility for own workload, ensuring tasks are efficiently completed to a professional standard.
Keep the team informed of progress, drawing issues to their attention and discussing conclusions with them.
To qualify for the role you must have The team is seeking candidates with experience in at least one of the following areas;
Transaction experience across either equity or debt-led transactions.
Strong Financial Services understanding with exposure to clients in this sector and the issues they face.
Technical numerical and financial skills and an understanding of financial statements.
