We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Risk and Control Manager.
Work closely with Country HR Business Risk and Control Managers and regional stakeholders across the Asia Pacific Region to promote operational risk awareness and provide guidance on risk management practices pertaining to both HR operations and wider Employment Practices and Relations and People risks.
Coordinate and prepare risk related reports and management information for the regional risk governance forums and others as needed.
Coordinate and monitor risk related activities and programme rollout across the region, that is Risk and Control Assessment, Control Monitoring etc.
Track and monitor Audit and Assurance reviews related to both HR operations and wider Employment Practices and Relations and People risks.
Review and monitor progress of remediation actions and follow up with countries for update in a timely manner for management oversight.
Monitor adherence to Group functional policies, and coordinate the regional review and challenge of approved dispensations and new dispensation requests.
Support Business Risk and Control Management related activities as set out in the Operational Risk Management Framework for Network Markets across the region.
Work closely with Group HR Business Information Reporting Officer and Regional Information Security Risk, and provide guidance to Country HR Business Information Reporting Officers across the region in meeting the standards related to Information Security Risks and continually enhancing awareness and oversight within HR.
Minimum of a Bachelors degree with background in Banking, risk management or internal audit, Audit, Risk or Compliance professional designation preferred.
Good understanding of relevant internal and external compliance requirements, operational risk and internal control principles and ability to assess risk trends.
Attention to detail combined with strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results
Time management and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills including the ability to deliver clear and accurate messages to management.
Good communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with various levels of staff across multiple countries and cultures.
Strong teamwork, sound judgment, keen sense of urgency and initiative, and high level of professional and personal integrity.
