Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Assistant, Loan Management .
Handle all account operational aspects to include, but not limited to, passing entries for financial transactions, performing account reconciliations, processing LICs, preparing CARMs, processing fee payments, monitoring budgets, preparing customer bank statements, obtaining property valuation reports and preparing correspondence.
Prepare facility withdrawal letters, default letters, proofs of debt, statements of claim, affidavits, compile evidence for insolvency proceedings or litigation.
Review completeness of security documents and control the movement and security of those documents. Obtain security valuations at required intervals. Monitor expiry dates of insurance policies and other important documents.
File government guarantee claims and respond to information requests in a timely manner
Record default customer recovery information in the Generic Data Capture system and Global Credit Loss Data Warehouse.
Assist in providing data for regulatory reporting.
Perform secretarial duties for Relationship Managers.
Provide administrative support such as ordering or control of stationery, arranging meetings or presentation or seminars, booking of conference rooms, prepare overseas travel arrangement for Relationship Managers
Receive, sort and distribute inward or outward correspondence
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of HSBC systems.
Good communication skills. Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
Can communicate in English and Cantonese and or Mandarin
Bank experience in Risk or Credit is a plus
