We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Product Manager .
Regional product ownership. Be responsible for the Business to business Cross border Payment product portfolio for the Asia Pacific region.
Value proposition development. Identify and evaluate payments market trends and evolving client expectations for new payments propositions and develop a strategy to realize such opportunities, either via partnership with appropriate Fintech or third party providers, or from internal developments.
Customer and deal solutioning. Lead product solutioning for specific Request for Proposals and client requirements, working closely with Relationship Managers, Sales, Operations and Information Technology teams to address clients' needs and develop deal specific value propositions for key clients.
New product development and roll out. Oversee the development and roll out of new products and features, working in collaborations with project management teams, Global Product and regional or country Operations and Information Technology teams.
Profit and Loss management. Track product performance by country, business lines and client, to ensure volumes and revenues are on track for delivery as per plan. Work on identifying costs which can be reduced. Manage product losses and improve processes to reduce losses.
Growth of market share. Supporting the development and implementation of the business strategy to grow market share in key markets for the payments business and enhance the profitability of the product. Deliver key initiatives to drive product growth in collaboration with regional/country client facing teams.
Identifying and closing product Gaps. Overall responsibility for identifying and closing of product gaps, working closely with various risks stewards, regional or country Operations, Information Technology teams and other Global partners. Work with various cross functional and cross departmental partners to improve processes which enhance the client experience and increase client satisfaction.
Risk Management and product reviews. Maintain documentation of new products or changes made to Crossborder payments products and work with risk stewards to review product documentation as needed. Represent Asia Pacific regional at Product Governance and other Risks forum to ensure product compliance, suitability and sustainability. Maintain up to date product capability grid.
Client Understanding. Robust understanding of Global Liquidity and Cash Management Client base, especially with regards to cross border and Foreign Exchange payments related requirements for institutional, corporate, and commercial client.
Payments Landscape. Keen appreciation and insights of payments market trends, potential disruptors, and evolving technologies to meet competitive demands and regulations impacting the Payments and Cash Management Business.
Risk and Compliance. Strong acumen in external and internal risk and compliance matters associated with payments, third party management, and product governance, with experience in leading and executing complex global and regional remediation projects.
Change Management. Prior Experience in championing and delivering change within a complex and matrix environment. Good project execution skills to deliver results with rigorous attention to detail and deadlines.
Development and implementation experiences in one or more areas in API, Distributed Ledger Technologies, and Machine Learning in a transaction banking context is a strong advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills, to be able to effectively work in a diverse and multicultural team people, across all levels, as well as across various functional groups and geographies.
Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills, mastery of one or more Asian languages would be an advantage.
Solid experience in Cash Management or Transaction Banking gain via Product Management, Sales, Implementation, Client Management, Risk Management, or Operations and Technology required. Additional experience in trade finance, working capital, clearing, or Foreign Exchange product would be an advantage.
