We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Product Manager.
Regional product ownership. Be responsible for the Correspondent Banking and Payment Settlement Service products portfolio.
Value proposition development. Identify and evaluate payments market trends in Financial Institutions and Non Bank Financial Institutions and develop a strategy to realize such opportunities.
Customer and deal solutioning. Lead product solutioning for specific Request for Proposals and client requirements.
New product development and roll out. Collaborate with Global Product and regional or country Operations and Information Technology teams to manage new product development and rollout.
Identifying and closing product Gaps. Overall responsibility for identifying and closing of product gaps, working closely with various risks stewards, regional or country Operations, Information Technology teams and other Global partners.
Profit and Loss management. Track product performance by country, business lines and client, to ensure volumes and revenues are on track for delivery as per plan.
Growth of market share. Supporting the development and implementation of the business strategy to grow market share in key markets for the correspondent banking business and enhance the profitability of the product.
Risk Management and product reviews. Maintain documentation of new products or changes made to Correspondent Banking and Payment Settlement Service products and work with risk stewards to review product documentation as needed.
Client Understanding. Robust understanding of Financial Institutions Group and Non Bank Financial Institutions client base, especially with regards to correspondent banking and payment settlement services related requirements for public sector and non bank financial institutions.
Correspondent Banking Landscape. Keen appreciation and insights of payments market trends, potential disruptors, and evolving technologies to meet competitive demands and regulations impacting the correspondent banking business.
Risk and Compliance. Strong acumen in external and internal risk and compliance matters associated with payments, third party management, and product governance, with experience in leading and executing complex global and regional remediation projects.
Change Management. Prior Experience in championing and delivering change within a complex and matrix environment. Good project execution skills to deliver results with rigorous attention to detail and deadlines.
Development and implementation experiences in one or more areas in API, Distributed Ledger Technologies, and Machine Learning in a transaction banking context is a strong advantage.
Excellent interpersonal skills, to be able to effectively work in a diverse and multicultural team people, across all levels, as well as across various functional groups and geographies.
Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills, mastery of one or more Asian languages would be an advantage.
Solid experience in Correspondent Banking, Cash Management, or Transaction Banking gain via Product Management, Sales, Client Management, Risk Management, or Operations required. Additional experience gained from stock and securities exchanges, insurance, and wallet or card scheme settlement would be an advantage.
