We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Financial Crime Risk Manager .
Engage with stakeholders across Insurance Hong Kong, Group Insurance and Functions at global and local level to translate Global Insurance Financial Crime strategy into effective local execution and implementation plans, identifying potential cross-group and local impacts for the future BAU environment, including MI requirements
Ensure effective governance structures are in place to enable oversight, control and monitoring of strategy execution and implementation plans
Engage with stakeholders to identify themes/emerging issues for Financial Crime for Insurance Hong Kong
Identify and execute on opportunities to drive improvements in Insurance Hong Kong's capability to maintain oversight of Financial Crime services performed outside of Insurance but on behalf of the Insurance business
Engage with stakeholders locally to identify themes and emerging issues for Insurance Hong Kong
Provide constructive challenge to existing practices and proposed initiatives and generate new and innovative strategic long term solutions
Provide accountability and oversight for delivery of FCC Risks to Senior Management, through ongoing reporting and assessment of KRIs and KPIs.
Serve as the primary interface between the Insurance Hong Kong business community and local and group COO teams on all financial crime topics.
Work with the Hong Kong Insurance second line financial crime lead to ensure alignment of the Group priorities and agenda with the country's local business and regulatory priorities
Educated to degree level
Significant financial crime experience
Knowledge of the external environment, regulatory, political, competitors etc.
Ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels of the organisation
Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely in the language of the business
Proven ability to strategically analyse situations and solve complex operational problems
Experience of working in a complex financial services organisation. Effective matrix management skills in multi-cultural environments
Requires significant collaboration and influencing skills. The successful candidate must ensure that Insurance Hong Kong executes initiatives appropriately across business lines and fulfil both country local and global business needs.
Demonstrable insurance business knowledge
Drive and motivation to ensure delivery in a challenging environment
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint skills
