We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Manager.
Assists the Management team to drive the long and short term objectives of the team. Manages the monthly governance meeting, and provides minutes with follow up action points within a timely manner
Focal point of contact for all Compliance, Internal Control, Risk Management, Audit, Legal and Operations issues for the Client Lifecycle Management team
Take ownership for Business Risk Control Management, internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators with regards to Front Office's process and implementation of Customer Due Diligence policies. Liaise with other business managers and central Management team, to determine if the issue is local or global. Determine the path for and deliver a timely resolution
To take the lead in engaging relevant departments in implementing revised work flow procedures, engaging with other key stakeholders during implementation of new procedures, ensuring requirements and concerns of all departments are considered and addressed
Improve processes and quality. Look for ways to improve process, system efficiency and resource allocation. Work closely with team members to identify problems in the overall workflow, and provide solutions to make adjustments and improvements, minimize waste and duplication
University degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Able to work independently
Can do and problem solving attitude
Commercially minded Fluency in English, other languages is an advantage
Previous experience within the banking and financial institution ideally in private banking
Work knowledge of Anti Money Laundering, industry regulations and best practices
