We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Chief Control Officer, Hong Kong Principal responsibilities
Acting as a First Line of Defence and working closely with Risk Owners and Control Owners to ensure the execution of operational risk management activities, as defined by the Operational Risk Management Framework, and provide expert operational risk advice and input, and control monitoring for the Business or Function.
Driving delivery of objectives in line with organisational strategy enabling the achievement of functional or regional results.
Senior operational leader or leading technical or expertise specialist exercising control over resources, policy formulation and planning with primary accountability for end results.
Championing and embedding best practice management and administrative procedures in own area of responsibility and support or drive implementation of transformational change.
Supporting functional activity or work with Group across region or specific function, contributing to functional planning based on detailed understanding of own area of responsibility and overseeing day to day relationships with stakeholders.
Directing major projects or programmes with significant business impact within department, area, and business unit.
Management responsibility for teams, providing clear direction, setting performance targets to subordinate managers and contributing to employees' professional development.
Strong knowledge of cash management and clearing services, products and techniques.
A good understanding of the Front to back processes within the cash management business.
Relevant work experience and demonstrable ability to deliver complex projects with multiple stakeholders involved.
Strong analytical skills required to perform in depth review of impact to existing business.
Ability to challenge constructively and effect change.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
