CSi Operational Risk Management (ORM) is responsible for the independent oversight of the Enterprise Risk and Control Framework (ERCF) for the UK legal entities and acts as the 'second line of defence' in reviewing and challenging the operational risk profile for the businesses operating within these. The role of Operational Risk Manager will include responsibility for business coverage of Corporate Centre (including the Strategic Resolution Unit globally and Treasury in the UK) and supporting the build out of an Operational Resilience Framework. The role will report to the Head of ORM for Corporate Centre and Operational Resilience and carries significant exposure to the wider Risk Division and senior management from the Corporate Centre.
Partner with the Corporate Centre in their adoption of the Enterprise Risk and Control Framework by providing both subject matter expertise and challenge where required.
Perform independent review and root-cause analysis where operational risk incidents occur and recommend actions to remediate control issues.
Work with stakeholders to identify appropriate mitigation related to operational risk and control vulnerabilities arising from New Business proposals.
Participate and actively engage in business owed governance meetings with a focus on ensuring adequate transparency over the risk profile and identification of new risks.
Support the development and implementation of the Operational Resilience Framework.
Open to discussing flexible/agile working.
Practical knowledge of the principles and approaches for operational risk management.
Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple business lines/functions and develop effective relationships with senior business partners.
An inquisitive mind set with the ability to identify risk and mitigation through the analysis of data and discussion based investigation.
Verbal and written presentation skills which allow often complex topics to be conveyed in an engaging manner.
