Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, Service Area Finance
Take the next step in your career and showcase your finance business partnering skills in a high performing team. As an experienced Manager, you will join the Finance team that supports the Risk Management Group, Financial Management Group and the like. You will pro-actively partner with a wide range of service area stakeholders and divisional heads, providing insights and analysis to help manage the cost base and assist in the Group's strategy. Additionally, you will also have significant interaction with other finance teams.
In this challenging role, you will review and challenge the financial results for all divisions of the Risk Management Group and/or the Financial Management Group. You will review the financial results for all the functional teams within the groups to give meaningful insight into the cost base including actions cost base owners can take to manage their budgets. You will regularly meet with stakeholders and division heads to discuss monthly results and understand the current and future team profile to prepare team level headcount and cost forecasting. You will manage and assist in designing the recovery methodologies and prepare and deliver on the rolling forecast, annual budget and strategy. Another key element to this role is identifying opportunities for process improvement and developing user friendly reporting. You will review and deliver the CFO report and support the development of and critically assess business cases for major change projects. You will ultimately work collaboratively with our overseas team in India and help them transition knowledge from onshore to produce efficient and targeted results.
Your technical skills and qualifications will include a tertiary degree in Accounting or similar, a CA qualification, 5+ years in the Chartered Accountancy profession or a relevant commercial sector and experience as a Management Accountant. You will be required to grasp new concepts and ideas quickly especially regarding new processes and systems and on-going change in a business and reporting environment and bring your excellent Excel and presentation skills into the team.
