You will play an important role in administering and implementing established policies and procedures to ensure compliance with our own policies and principles, as well as with local Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism regulatory requirements. Your role will be dynamic, as you will cover our business activities in both Asia and in Australia and New Zealand. You will be heavily involved in day-to-day customer due diligence advisory and approval, as well as enhanced due diligence work. Through leveraging your excellent English and Chinese language ability, you will also be trusted to provide support to the Significant Investor Visa program.
To thrive in this role, you should be someone who is willing to take on a diverse product range and leverage your existing personal experience and skills to adapt into new areas. Your ability to work independently, determine priorities and meet deadlines will help you juggle general Compliance projects, and assist when any suspicious transaction and activity investigations arise. Your motivated personality will also make it natural for you to keep abreast with changes to regulatory requirements and to communicate these new changes to our team.
As a successful candidate, you will ideally have gained a minimum of 1 years' experience within the banking industry, legal or regulatory environment. A strong understanding of financial markets and an interest in developing a career in Financial Crime Compliance will be an added plus.
