Our client is a International financial services firm with strong presence across Asia Pacific. Singapore is the HQ for APAC business and we are hiring a Credit Risk Manager to be based in Singapore. We are looking for strong Credit Risk professionals with experience in Corporate/Wholesale banking, or from related Financial Services businesses.
The company has multiple business lines across FinTech, Payments, and Financial Services and you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing corporate customers, and for being the main point of contact for regional front office teams.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Underwrite new corporate customers and determine credit risk
Ensure that Credit Risk is managed within appropriate Risk limits
Handle all Credit Analysis matters including due diligence and credit risk analysis
Perform risk assessment and work with internal and external stakeholders to advise on credit matters
Work with Credit Approving team on Credit Strategy and Limits management and ensure that Risk is managed within Risk Appetite and/or Risk Limits of the platform
Support compliance and monitoring functions advising on risk
Support front off and sales team on client visits and provide risk management training upon request.
Drive business strategy through Credit Analysis to ensure long term business performance
Requirements of the Credit role:
At least 4 years of experience in Credit Analysis, Credit Risk, Due Diligence or a related field
Experience dealing with corporate clients; experience working in Commercial/Wholesale banking is advantageous
Good understanding of Credit Risk processes and policies
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of financial analysis
Ability to work independently and collectively as part of a team
Strong technical skills and a strategic mindset and business acumen
Excellent stakeholder management and keen eye for detail
