Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's People strategy, facilitating talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement. Ensuring talent practices support relevant stakeholders and reflect HSBC values, the function reviews the people implications of business plans while delivering policies, projects, processes and activities in support of business objectives. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Manager Learning & Talent Development .
Supports the talent team in global Talent propositions through planning and delivery for annual/biannual Talent Cycle activities and policies, frameworks and supporting tools.
Work closely with the businesses to identify and prioritise their training demand plans; Adheres to a calendar/plan of annual/biannual Talent cycle activities (e.g. key role identification; Talent calibration and succession planning).
Monitor the training budget on a monthly basis to ensure that the training funds are utilised as per plan;
Ensure that any local implementation is aligned with Group initiatives;
Facilitate the on-boarding programme for new hires with relevant training partners;
Plan and deliver Learning and Development programmes;
Working closely with Regional Learning Academy and other group sites to support the implementation of Group driven programmes.
Ensuring the course contents are in line with the Bank's performance driven culture by engaging the line in matters concerning changes and generation of an excellence work culture and quality staff.
Support the culture bank wide programmes as an advocate.
Prioritise the specification, design and implementation of FCC related training & development interventions;
Display good leadership skills;
Good stakeholder management;
Proactive, Drive to Lead and commitment to see things through;
Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written;
Display good problem solving ability/analytical skills to tackle various issues and problems;
Innovative, able to develop new concepts and to deliver creative solutions;
Must have knowledge of training delivery/facilitation;
Able to provide practical advice and guidance to employees on sales and relationship management to facilitate learning impact;
Good knowledge of insurance, investment, financial planning and industry;
Good sales and product knowledge would be an added advantage.
