Reporting to the Head of Sales Distribution, the jobholder will primarily support:
The Sales Strategy of INMY distribution channel, in particular the Amanah Network and Mobile Sales team.
INMY's goals in creating a Need based Selling culture among all staff to support the group insurance/Takaful growth strategy.
Improved productivity and volume generation and feedback from the business line with measurable outcomes and assist with the development and preparation of the annual operating plan.
Plan, implement and manage initiative programme via strategic distribution partners particularly HBMS and Mobiles Sales Team with the ultimate objective of maximizing business growth, achieving plan targets and profitability.
Ensure integration and alignment with Business Development team to support effective sales and distribution strategies.
Identify and recommend enhancement opportunities for ROP planning.
Monitor and ensure regulatory updates are incorporated into development work.
1. Sales Quality & Persistency
To ensure execution of action plan to improve persistency as per group requirement
Provide the business and branch management with regular feedback on sales quality issues and recommendation for rectification to help drive quality sales and persistency.
Assist in strengthening the sales quality standards and raising the awareness on important of observance to HSBC Sales Process, Group Compliance Policy and BNM Guidelines.
Responsible to drive Persistency through Outbound Collection Initiative.
To work collectively with INMY Sales teams to promptly resolve any mis-selling issues to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
2. Sales Support
To ensure all required support for Business Development team is fulfil efficiently and effectively on timely manner.
To support marketing & product in developing sales collateral.
To support any adhoc MI required by management.
Providing scheduled ales MI on timely basis with zero error.
Constantly improve MI.
At least ten years' experience in insurance or takaful business - experienced in customer relationship management & distribution planning and driving a sales & service culture.
Experience and knowledge in the marketing discipline will be an advantage.
Possess broad-based knowledge of the Insurance business and Islamic practices. Knowledge of banking products and business, strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities would be added advantages
Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence a diverse audience
Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
Leadership capability to inspire, motivate and develop the team to deliver business targets
Excellent judgment and decision-making skills - able to make or provide recommendations for business-aligned and timely decisions
