Overall purpose of role
Single stock option trading
Deliver a proactive and professional service that enhances the reputation of the business both internally and externally, ensuring all matters are managed promptly and effectively.
Implement the agreed single stock trading strategy, ensuring all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) are consulted and informed as appropriate
Ensure the single stock Trading business is managed in accordance with industry best practice, including all appropriate Conduct Risk training roll-out, development of Governance initiatives, Markets marketing materials etc.
Stakeholder Management and Leadership
This role will involve extensive stakeholder management, both internal and external to Barclays, including industry Regulators as appropriate. As a trader within the business the role holder will be expected to be role model the Barclays Values and Behaviours at all times.
Decision-making and Problem Solving
Will be required to have strong analytical skills, problem solving capabilities and strong understanding at micro and macro level
Risk and Control Objective
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards
