As Procedures Manager you'll own our Corporate Banking Line 1 Financial Crime procedures, ensuring teams across the business are operating consistently with regulation, legislation and internal policies, and crucially providing advice on their interpretation. It's all about transforming dry, potentially ambiguous literature into meaningful, user-friendly practical guidance to assist colleagues in their challenging roles.

As a Procedures Manager your main responsibilities will be
Defining and communicating Line 1 procedure requirements, ensuring that they are maintained in line with regulation, Line 2 policy framework, legislation and business requirements
Supporting as required the Line 2 Financial Crime Compliance Policy function in the drafting of UK-wide AML, Sanctions and ABC Policies
Providing authoritative advice and guidance to colleagues across the business on policy or procedure interpretation
Providing input to the Training and Awareness team as necessary, particularly where new policy/procedures have been released
Overseeing the implementation of a review of Line 1 Corporate Banking systems, controls and processes against Line 1 and Line 2 procedures/policies and rapidly implementing effective solutions
Minimum skills and experience required
A strong working knowledge of the global legislative and regulatory framework for Financial Crime, including anti-money laundering, sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption
Leadership experience in a role in which you've personally influenced policy and procedure frameworks, writing and reviewing policy and procedure documentation
An analytical approach to work, supported by a deep understanding of corporate banking products and services
Experience in building and leading a high-performing team
Familiarity with our Financial Crime frameworks, policies, and processes
