Your role Do you have a strong sense of when things are not as they seem? Do you have a keen eye for detail? We're looking for someone like this to: - Operate as the regional AML Transaction monitoring subject matter expert. The role encompasses several aspects, including but not limited to - Be the central point of contact for regional Transaction monitoring covering Wealth Management and Investment Banking - Provide AML Transaction monitoring advice, training and support to the Alert handling team - Training Business and Support functions with respect to AML standards and on the applicable internal policies/local regulations - Perform adhoc transaction monitoring related analysis and investigations. - Support the preparation/follow-up on internal/external audit and regulatory inspection - co-operate with AML Compliance counterparts in other locations within and outside of APAC including recommending/understanding transaction monitoring framework changes. - Review and identify changes in AML regulations, assessing potential impact on existing policies/procedures and implementing changes to ensure compliance - Support the preparation/follow-up on internal/external audit and regulatory inspection - keep abreast of regulatory developments in prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing activities

C&ORC provides independent oversight of the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risks (so called 'consequential' risks) within the firm. This responsibility includes ensuring the necessary risk frameworks are appropriately designed and operating effectively across the full operational risk taxonomy, pro-actively identifying and analysing risk, and providing constructive challenge to achieve an appropriate balance between risk and return.
