Act as Product Owner for the MIS Pricing Engine under the agile development framework. Lead cross-functional teams to create product roadmap and manage end-to-end implementation for all pricing changes.
Responsible for the business documentation / requirements creation and maintenance process. Ensure all changes are processed, implemented, and communicated accurately and efficiently to the scrum team on what needs to be developed.
Write user stories /requirements via JIRA that align with the changes, define acceptance criteria on each task, work with SMEs to design User Acceptance Testing scenarios, provide expected business outcomes, and validate results.
Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure proper system architecture, data elements, and processes are in place for the product rollouts.
Work with the programmers and Core Product Team on timing / resource estimates. Constant prioritization of the pipeline and product backlog, and make educated trade-off where needed.
Participate and collaborate with Scrum team during Scrum events.
Identify opportunities that can simplify / streamline operation efficiencies of the Pricing Engine and yield revenue potentials.
Provide analytical support in MIS strategic pricing initiatives.
Represent department as SME in cross-departmental initiatives.
Oversee strategic pricing for Moody's Investors Service and provide tactical pricing support to Moody's Analytics.
Chair, Pricing Committee for Moody's Investors Service covering the setting of fees for all Ratings products and services.
Responsible for the development and implementation of Ratings pricing policies, revenue modeling and elasticity analysis.
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. Working knowledge of Fixed Income Market.
Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in a software development, technical integration or business operations environment, with a proven track record of interfacing with multiple levels of the organization. 10+ years of relevant job experience in a large multi-national corporation
Strong ability to be both an individual contributor and a team leader. Agile Scrum Master or Agile Product Owner experience preferred.
Excellent problem solver and independent thinker who has the ability to create innovative solutions.
Strong communications, analytical and management skills with the ability to present quantitative and technical concepts to both business executives and technical teams.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive decision, mediate conflicting views, and making pragmatic trade-offs.
