Support Regional CEO/COO in formulation, maintenance and execution of strategy
Conduct strategic and other business reviews
Enrich strategy proposals with best practise and experience and aid the receipt of all internal approvals, e.g. GSM7.1 proposals
Create and maintain a repository of materials that explain and promote the HSS Europe business to internal and external stakeholders, e.g. regulators
Prepare and maintain the regional business plan and scorecard to help drive financial performance
Review and constructively challenge financial performance and forecasts to improve accuracy and profitability
Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance commercial performance
Own and drive the production of KPIs and MI that aid business decisions. Conduct analysis to identify trends and thematics
Lead and execute projects. Transition larger projects, once established, to relevant teams for full execution
Sponsor initiatives and/or represent Regional CEO/COO at relevant project and governance committees. Ensure the HSS client, people and business considerations are understood and acted upon
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
Financial Services experience and knowledge (desirable) of the Securities Services industry.
Ability to operate strategically and work at a detailed level when required.
Proven ability to articulate complex issues concisely and in clear language.
Strong verbal and written communicator with a comprehensive understanding of content and context.
Good presentation skills and ability to tailor communication for the audience, environment and setting.
Able to manage multiple tasks, handle changing priorities, deliver to tight deadlines, deal with ambiguity/conflicts and manage budgets.
Track record in project/programme delivery, typically in both execution and sponsorship roles.
Experience in identifying & managing risks, issues and dependencies.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders combined with the ability to influence people at all levels of the business.
Proven ability to constructively challenge the status quo and bring a new perspective to issues by drawing parallels from previous experiences and situations.
Responds positively to challenge, showing consideration for, and taking account of, the views of others.
Experience of working with diverse, geographically dispersed and cultural diverse teams.
Experience of recruiting, managing, leading and developing diverse teams of strong individuals.
