The Business We're hiring at vice president level onto our Currency Options Trading desk in London
This is a chance to join the NatWest Markets Currency Options Trading desk, trading and market-making FX options products with a primary focus on the CEEMEA sector

What you'll do
This is a key role on the desk, making prices and executing trades to generate revenue in the FX options space, and contributing to further developing our offering in CEEMEA product. You will manage risk positions within the authorised desk limits, executing hedging strategies to ensure risks limits are not breached. You will be accountable for delivering on commitments made to clients, and will implement customer focus through market-making, high quality communications, and customer engagement.
Other key aspects of your role will include:
Accurately booking all trading activities within the relevant systems; quickly following up trade queries to minimise the risk of errors
Contributing to on-desk debate and discussion, and helping to shape risk and customer strategy
Producing high quality and insightful ideas and colour for distribution to sales teams and customers
Building strong relationships with customers, and with internal parties including sales, IT and quants
Making sure that activities are managed within risk policies covering market, operational, credit and regulatory risks
Helping to build customer focus into the trading behaviours and culture
The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with deep, relevant experience trading and market-making FX options, with a strong understanding of standard FX Options valuation models, and the ability to help direct quant model deliveries. You'll hold at least an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, and will hold the necessary FCA registrations, or be in the position to undertake registration shortly after joining.

Well developed interpersonal skills, allowing you to form effective working relationships with customers and a wide range of internal partners, including sales and trading teams, quants, IT and support colleagues
