Human Resources provide support and strategy at every level of Morgan Stanley's business. It helps firm and business unit management with strategic direction in employee recruiting, retention, development and compensation. HR generalists partner with individual business units to deliver services in data analysis, employee relations, compensation analysis and performance management. Other HR teams are product -focused, specialising in compensation, benefits, recruiting, reporting and learning and development services.
This individual will join the Institutional Securities (ISG) Campus Recruitment team and be responsible for the execution of the attraction and recruitment strategy for the Associate Programmes in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) across Investment Banking (IBD), and Investment Management (IM). The role will also involve supporting aspects of the Associate intern and full time training programmes in partnership with the Programme Management Team. This role has one shared direct report at the coordinator level.
Attraction and Recruitment Strategy:
Supported by the Campus Diversity Relationship Management (CDRM) team, define and deliver the attraction and events strategy for the IBD and IM Associate recruitment
Maintain and develop relationships with campus professionals, careers services, societies and ambassadors for key MBA Schools across EMEA and North America to effectively plan and execute events that promote the MBA programmes
Manage the attraction and selection strategy at target North American and European MBA business schools; attend events on and off campus on behalf of Morgan Stanley as required
Work closely with the CDRM and Diversity team on relevant diversity campus recruitment initiatives
Effectively manage and work with relevant School Teams, hiring managers and Campus Ambassadors on raising the Firm's and division's profile at target campuses. Arrange and monitor divisional representation at events
Gather and analyse data for end of season debriefs and deliver to key stakeholders; this includes conducting a review of the success of the division's attraction and recruitment strategy every year
Selection Process and Reporting:
Responsible for the successful delivery of the MBA and Sustainable Investing interview process. This includes:
Ensuring business representatives are briefed and receive all relevant information to perform the selection process
Tracking hotlist candidates from events and monitoring their progress alongside School Teams and key stakeholders
Managing interview days and assessment centres alongside other recruiters and coordinators, ensuring adequate resources are deployed to recruit top talent
Leading and managing roundtable hiring discussions
The effective delivery of the sell process to get intern and full time offers accepted to meet hiring targets
Ensuring the applicant tracking system is up to date and providing feedback to candidates
Working alongside HR Operations and HR Coverage to onboard MBA hires
Regularly reviewing divisional assessment materials and processes to ensure they meet business requirements
Auditing hiring reports to ensure divisional data is accurate
Partner with Global counterparts and Divisional Management to develop & maintain an annual budget based on hiring targets, divisional recruiting initiatives, and divisional guidance, continually updating on spend and ROI
Partner with the PM team and divisional management on the design and execution of intern programmes
Manage the group allocation process for intern and full time Analyst hires alongside divisional management
Devise the events schedule during internship programme; booking venues, coordinating speakers and attending events where required
Work with business unit management teams on providing an effective support network for internship programmes
Manage the intern performance review process and facilitate the conversion process to full time Associate programmes
Keep up to date with current and impending legislation, developments and changes in the graduate market and propose changes to graduate recruiting policies and practices
Share divisional best practices with the wider EMEA and Global Campus Recruitment Teams
Undertake team projects and ad hoc requests as required by the Head of Revenue Campus Recruitment
Manage a campus coordinator, both directing work and monitoring performance in conjunction with the RPO Manager and the Head of Revenue Campus Recruitment.
Skills required (essential)
Successful candidates are likely to have exposure to MBA and/or Quant Finance recruiting
Experience of recruiting for specialised roles and finding niche talent.
A robust understanding of the MBA school /Quant Finance university landscape
Strong organizational, multi-tasking skills
Strong diplomacy and negotiation, influencing skills
Willingness to work with numerous constituencies to gather information and opinions, generate buy-in and implement action
Strong ability to multi-task and handle working in a fast-paced environment yet maintaining a high level of detail
Demonstrated client service and relationship management focus

Analytical and strong reporting skills
Ability to develop relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and senior professionals internally and externally
Flexibility with regard to working hours – travel will be required within EMEA and NA
