Investor Relations Manager - Long-Short Equity Fund

* Develop and execute investor relations strategies/programs to institutional investors * Serve as spokesperson and primary contact for investors * Manage existing relationships with investors and conduct marketing/business development activities as required * Produce standard reporting such as quarterly newsletters, monthly reports and weekly NAV estimates * Handle ad hoc reporting requests such as DDQs (quarterly and annual) and other one-off reporting items that are sent to certain clients * Respond to ad hoc client inquiries daily * Help to plan road shows and coordinate follow up information from client meetings * Update marketing presentation and other ad hoc marketing materials (i.e. DDQs) for prospective clients * Ad hoc activities from time to time such as letters to investors, FATCA documentation requests, etc
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a buy-side Investor Relations role * Undergraduate degree required in Finance, Business Administration, or Communications; MBA from an overseas university preferred * Business fluent or native written and spoken English is an absolute and Mandarin (Putonghua) would be considered an advantage * Experience working within an international investment firm preferred * Strong Excel skills required * Outgoing, well-spoken, and self-aware personality with the ability to hold your own in a conversation with investors * Strong understanding of the investment industry and hedge fund investment strategies * Ability to liaise well with internal teams and work closely with compliance, finance, operations and the investment team
