The SLB Financial Institutions (FI) team primary responsibility will be to review and recommend FI transactions and limits proposed for Santander's wholesale business in the UK non-ring-fenced bank (SLB).

As a Senior Credit Risk Manager your main responsibilities will be:
Reviewing and recommending transactions and limits proposed for booking in SLB from the following clients: Banks, Insurers, intra- group entities, Sovereigns, Supranational / Agencies and Sundry NBFIs
Effective monitoring & control of SLB FI portfolio
Acting appropriately within delegated authority, if such authority is granted
Lead role in reviewing, analysing and recommending business proposals for SLB credit exposures on wholesale business FI customers
Monitoring and analysis of exposures to FI customers within the defined counterparty and business line range
Ensuring that changes to regulatory landscape are incorporated into activities
Minimum skills and experience required:
Strong Financial Institutions and non-banking Financial Institutions experience
In-depth product knowledge of the range of trading products, collateral management methodology and legal/documentation issues
Stakeholder engagement experience- front office, market risk, legal, etc.
Experience in managing individuals/teams
Experience in presenting to credit committees
Spanish language skills desirable, but not essential
