The Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) team manages the firm's Non-Financial Risk exposures in alignment with risk appetite and the NFRM framework. In the Americas, the NFR team is approximately 50 FTEs.
The Risk & Control Assessment Leader in NFRM's Americas will manage a team and partner with the coverage leaders to deliver a comprehensive RCA each quarter. You will support Second Line of Defense risk management activities focused on businesses including independent assessment of non-financial risks for the Americas Region. You will have prior knowledge and experience in Corporate & Investment Banking businesses to assess existing/emerging risks and controls as well as identify enhancements to controls (as necessary) and any remediation activity.
Monitor NFR themes, events, losses, risk metrics/indicators and other related data/developments across business divisions and risk types and develop insightful reporting
Work with business partners to enhance their knowledge of NFRM framework and requirements
Provide input into design and enhancement of existing operational processes and procedures
Maintain knowledge of NFR related industry trends, standards and practices
Highly organized with ability to work with multiple priorities
Communicate information concisely and adapt with quickly changing environments
Experience working in and/or across Markets business lines in a large complex global organization
Experience working and forming relationships with senior business stakeholder in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Experience in Operational Risk, Market Risk, Credit Risk or Enterprise Risk Management a plus
Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Experience aggregating and manipulating data to produce meaningful Management Information key for success in this role
Strong oral and written skills with ability to distil topics into understandable summaries with clear conclusions and explanations of rationale
Confident in presenting outcomes of analysis to Senior Management
