Today, the company is uniquely positioned to continue its expansion through acquisitions having a solid deal flow in the project pipeline.
We are looking for active students (m/f) for a 3 to 6-month internship (full-time) starting as soon as possible in our European M&A Team. The potential candidate (m/f) will receive insights into daily activities of an M&A department of a global Independent Power Producer.
Summary of Functions
As an Intern, you will work with the European M&A and Business Development team based in Vienna being involved at different stages of M&A projects. Overall, this role is an exciting opportunity to gain an extensive exposure to M&A transactions in the European renewable and conventional power generation sector.
Valuation of potential acquisition targets
Preparation of internal presentations and other documentation
Analysis of acquisition targets and power market research
Experience and Professional Requirements
Advanced terms in Business Studies, focusing on Corporate Finance or similar
Financial modeling experience in Excel is a required. Ability to build acquisition and operating models is highly valued
Previous internships in relevant fields (private equity, investment banking, M&A/corporate development, project finance) are preferable. Prior experience in Power / Utilities / Infrastructure investments is welcomed
Experience in preparation of business presentations. Proficiency in PowerPoint is a must
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with the willingness and ability to learn quickly
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is a must, German, Italian or Spanish is of advantage
Highly motivated and flexible team player with interpersonal skills
