We are looking for an
Analytics Software Developer
in our Budapest Office
as a member of a recently established, small team within Global Macro Analytics and Modelling, inside the Fixed Income Division. The objective of the work is to integrate and refactor analytics libraries used by trading desks for pricing and risk calculations. The derivative products covered by these libraries range from bonds and swaps to vanilla and exotic options. You will be writing C++ and Scala code to be used in our production environment. You will also need to interact with various colleagues in modelling and in the technology division, as well as with internal clients located in Budapest, London and New York. Infrequent travel to London and New York may be necessary. The role requires learning about derivative products and pricing models.
Required skills and qualifications
· B.Sc. in a STEM discipline
· Excellent problem solving and software design skills
· Strong software development skills, C++ experience is preferred
· Confident command of English
· Good communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Experience with Scala or some other functional language
· Experience in developing mathematical libraries
· Experience with version control and build and test environments
· Experience with working in large codebases
