QIC's high performing Global Real Estate (GRE) division has a unique opportunity for a Valuation and Insurance Analyst to join the Governance and Business Management team in Brisbane.
You will support the Valuation and Insurance Principal in the performance of key functions associated with the external valuation of GRE's property portfolio for financial reporting purposes, statutory (rating) valuations and in overseeing GRE's property insurance program. The role includes assisting in the appointment of external service providers, valuation analysis and reporting, ensuring policy compliance and procedural requirements are being met, audit testing, data management and the maintenance of accurate records.
As the Valuation and Insurance Analyst you will work closely with other teams in GRE and be confident in developing an active network of Property Industry representatives and peers.
As a strong candidate for this role you will have;
Sound knowledge of the Australian property industry , particularly the Retail and Office sectors.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, Law or related areas
Sound report writing, communication and numeracy skills
3+ years' experience in a similar or related role
A keen eye for detail and an appreciation of process
A good level of understanding of Property Investment and Valuation methods and principles
