You will be joining the Regulated Mortgages team within the Global Lending & Deposits function in Deutsche Bank Wealth Management (WM), reporting to the Head of Regulated Mortgages. Regulated Mortgages is a newly established strategic priority for WM
Maintaining current knowledge of the external and internal parameters relevant to the conduct of the regulated mortgage business
Ensuring that the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the loan book are maintained, including management of annual review rates and covenant monitoring
Analysing both borrower financials and collateral risks
Preparing credit reports / proposals and obtaining all necessary sign-offs as required
Ensuring that the developed proposal structure meets the client's objectives and are within the Bank's risk acceptance framework
Actively working with teams within WM to support and investigate potential areas of cross-selling and revenue growth related to mortgage customers
Supporting the business strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture
Skills & Qualifications:
Technically capable, highly organised and efficient with the ability to think creatively to identify and solve process flow problems as well as specific issues around individual transaction
Understanding of credit process and policies, internal and external financial information systems, legal/regulatory environments - primarily in the United Kingdom (UK) - is critical
Ability to present highly complex situations in a clear and articulate manner to stakeholders to enable a quick understanding and fast decisions
Highly technical skills, with an in-depth knowledge of UK property markets
Familiarity with the Mortgage Credit Directive (MCD) and Mortgage Lending and Administration Reporting (MLAR) reporting requirements
Educated to Bachelor's Degree level or equivalent qualification/ relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Legal
Proven experience in a lending business (securities financing, corporate lending)
Flexibility to travel within UK/Europe may be required
