~~BCI is seeking an Analyst, Derivative Operations to join our Investment Operations department. Working within the Derivative Operations branch, the Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the daily processing of listed and OTC instruments is correctly executed and reflects the proper positions to the exchange and external counterparties. Among other responsibilities, the Analyst is an active participant on multiple department initiatives focused around new systems implementation, regulatory reporting, central clearing, and data management.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Investment Operations department is made up of three branches: Trade Management (TM), Cash Operations, and Derivative Operations. These teams support trade settlement, manage daily cash flows, and administer the derivative processing and collateral management for the Corporation.
QUALIFICATIONS Must have:
3+ years of progressive experience in the back/middle office of a large asset management or investment firm (Buy side preferred).
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field
Solid knowledge and experience in Equity, Credit, FX, and Fixed Income derivative instruments
Good knowledge and understanding of legal agreements; e.g., ISDA, CSA, long form confirmations, etc.
Thorough understanding of data management, accounting principles, and unitized pool transactions
Strong team player with a process improvement mindset
Strong analytical skills and experience resolving trading and valuation discrepancies
Effective communication and organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and accurately within a high pressure environment
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet internal and external deadlines Preferred:
Good knowledge around derivative valuation, collateral management, and trade confirmation systems
Experience with R, R Studio, VBA, SQL
Experience with Bloomberg, ICE Data, and Markit
Professional designation such as CFA, FRM, or other relevant designation
