The successful candidate will have an opportunity to work as a product manager on the Morgan Stanley Electronic Trading (MSET) desk. We are looking for self-motivated, proactive candidates who have strong and genuine interests in electronic trading with good analytical skills and will always strive for excellence. At the same time, the candidate must be a team player, able to work effectively and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.
Qualified candidates have a strong background in electronic trading, business analysis, technical writing, and cross-team coordination and communication. The successful candidate must be able to understand complex client trading scenarios, data rules and logic, manage numerous simultaneous projects, and be an active contributor to strategic and technical discussions.

Maintain day to day relationships with the 40+ 3 rd Party OMS and EMS providers used by clients of the firm for Equities and Listed Derivatives electronic trading.
Manage the commercial relationships, contract negotiations and associated costs of the vendors.
Manage and oversee the Morgan Stanley algorithmic suite embedded into vendor systems, ensuring they are accurate and regularly updated.
Work as part of a global team supporting colleagues in North America and Asia on effective vendor management.
Business Management of the client onboarding process for MSET, High Touch and Program Trading on a cross asset basis.
Work with clients, vendors and internal stake holders on electronic trading projects and work flows.
Ensure appropriate prioritization and management of the Client Connectivity team.
Product Management and support for the MS Passport EMS.
Overall, the position requires extensive interaction with Morgan Stanley clients, external vendors and IT teams in the region and globally. As such, strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Some relevant experience in electronic trading on multi asset classes (Equities, Derivatives and Swaps), with focus on direct market access and algorithmic trading.
Extensive knowledge of FIX protocol
Experience with execution/order management systems
Professional functional specification, use case, process flow diagram and product documentation writing
Project management background: ability to successfully manage and prioritize numerous simultaneous large projects, small tasks and ad-hoc requests
Ability to work independently and to drive projects to completion, while proactively ensuring project teams and relevant stakeholders are kept up to date and expectations properly managed
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to succinctly articulate complex concepts
Effective time management, relationship management, negotiation and prioritization skills
