Investment Management Services ("IMS") Team cover the full spectrum of Fee-based products related activities for PWM Asia Clients, including Funds sourcing and due diligence, product on-boarding, marketing and after sales support, product monitoring, and operational support. IMS team also manages discretionary portfolios across asset classes and leads other initiatives such as insurance referrals and lending program for PWM Asia clients.
Based in Hong Kong or Singapore, the Investment Management Services (IMS) team is seeking a highly self-motivated and experienced Investment Product Operations Specialist to support Fee-based Products trade execution; participate in system enhancement and integration projects and ad-hoc initiatives. This person will work closely with the PWM stakeholders including Operations & Finance, Legal & Compliance, Information and Technology team. This position requires high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, strong computer skills, positive professional attitude, and ability to work in a team environment.
Day-to-day trade execution of Investment Fund Products (Mutual Funds / Alternatives)
Liaise with Fund administrator and services provider for fund related queries, and resolving trade issues in a timely manner
Assist in fund onboarding operation setup
Drive process change projects as needed and ensure an efficient and precise implementation
Produce management information reports
Satisfying internal control and oversight procedures as well as external regulatory obligations
Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders within PWM including Risk, IT, Compliance, Legal and other areas
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL-SETS
Experience in private wealth banking experience is a must
Minimum 3 years of experience in financial institutions with exposure and/or thorough knowledge of funds investment
The ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure within a fast-paced environment
Fund platform development and engineering project experience is preferred
Bilingual verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin, with business-level fluency to read, speak and write both languages
Team player with resilience to perform to the highest standard and take on additional responsibilities
Self-motivation, high-energy, perseverance and attention to details
Dedication to teamwork; ability to juggle multiple projects at a time and results-oriented
