Citi's North America Consumer Business Operational Risk and Control (NA - CBORC) organization drives consistency for addressing Operational Risk and Control issues within the North America Consumer Businesses (NACB). NA - CBORC fosters a culture of control, customer centricity and accountability by leading efforts to identify, anticipate and mitigate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks. This position will be a key role in ensuring the projects necessary to support and improve the controls around credit bureau reporting and disputes are implemented flawlessly.
This position is responsible for delivery of project activities for the North America Credit Bureau Utility (CBU) across all platforms and Lines of Business (LOBs) for Consumer and Commercial portfolios, which includes Branded Cards, Retail Services Cards, Retail Bank, Retail Bank - Debit Cards, and Citi Mortgage. The role requires thought leadership in driving efficiency and effectiveness of the control environment and improving accurate reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Create project and/or maintenance requests to enhance credit bureau reporting or disputes based on Data Quality Reviews (DQRs), management observations, contractual agreements, regulatory requirements, etc. · Provide updates to support the roll-up, trend, and dashboard reports to monitor and communicate the status of all new and existing projects impacting the CBR function · Log and track system issues impacting credit bureau reporting. Support investigation and problem solving through resolution. · Partner with various businesses and IT groups across multiple lines of business (LOBs) to draft business requirements, participate in systemic design, monitor implementation, provide testing support, and perform post implementation validation based on CDIA, Legal, and Compliance recommendations for a particular product · Collaborate with IT and other Citi functions to ensure appropriate controls regarding credit bureau reporting are in place · Ensure project requirements support any new controls required with the implementation of the project · Provide testing support including but not limited to creating test plans/scripts, performing regression testing, analyzing and validating IT testing results. · Provide updates to support the roll-up, trend, and dashboard reports to monitor and communicate the status of all new and existing projects impacting the CBR function · Partner with Risk Operations to perform issue management activities including initiating, providing evidence, and closing issues within the required target dates · Provide testing support including but not limited to creating test plans/scripts, performing regression testing, analyzing and validating IT testing results. · Support the annual reviews of policies and procedures where credit bureau reporting or dispute management is impacted including system of record documentation, as necessary · Support the Remediation Team on systemic processing of Remediation as assigned · Respond to inquiries related to credit bureau reporting · Support the DQR Team on resolving reporting issues as assigned · Support internal audit and regulatory reviews related to the credit reporting function, as assigned
· 5+ years' experience in financial services or applicable business experience required. · Project Management experience required with PMI certification preferred. · 5+ years of enhanced knowledge of Credit Bureau Reporting requirements and working with the Credit Reporting Agencies strongly desired. · Must have strong oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to lead meetings effectively. · Working knowledge of regulatory requirements associated with Credit Bureau Reporting desired. · Knowledge of Retail Bank - Debit Bureau processes and procedures desired. · Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving and time management skills · Strong judgment, logical, and critical thinking skills. · Good organizational skills, with proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects · Ability to work well in a team environment collaborating across diverse groups · Strong business writing and verbal communications skills. · Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite · Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
