Our client is an industrial products and services company backed by a renowned private equity investor. Following two recent add-ons the firm is growing quickly and is characterised by its entrepreneurial and dynamic nature. The CEO is looking to bring on board a Business Development Manager to work closely with him in driving the implementation and analysis of the strategic roadmap forward. The role is based in the greater Hamburg area.
Working closely with the CEO to refine and develop sales strategies for existing and new geographies and sales channels
Implementing and measuring the business plan, analysing the performance of various business units and other internal data, as well as establishing and evaluating KPIs and other reporting workstreams (e.g., programme office).
Liaising closely with the board of directors and stakeholders, handling their requests as well as preparation of internal documents for board meetings
Supporting the growth of the company through market screening in targeted geographies, identifying potential add-on acquisition targets and support on execution of such potential acquisitions
Meaningful experience at a strategy consulting firm, including the Big Four firms
Exposure to post-merger integration, strategic and operational projects (M&A advisory experience is not required)
Outstanding commercial judgment and the ability to communicate effectively with seniors internally, investors, management teams of potential targets and external advisors alike
An independent, self-starting and hands-on work attitude and the drive to deliver results quickly
Entrepreneurial thinking, impact and gravitas are important
