Managing and implementing the Global Privacy Response Program across EMEA by investigating and responding to privacy incidents in a timely and effective manner.
Developing and defining privacy compliance metrics to measure and monitor effectiveness of privacy compliance programs.
Collating and providing privacy compliance statistics for Boards, Management Groups and other stakeholders as required.
Co-ordinating the delivery of the Privacy and Security Champions Network.
Monitoring participation levels and escalating where required and assessing the effectiveness of the Privacy Champions Network.
Assisting in the delivery of third party due diligence visits to suppliers that have access to Northern Trust information.
Assisting in the delivery of training and awareness sessions to Business Units and Operational Functions.
Engaging with Business Units and Operational Functions to assess and advise on matters of privacy compliance applicable.
Working with the EMEA and Global Privacy Office and Compliance Officers to identify best practices to ensure maximum effectiveness and improve the privacy posture across EMEA.
Working with Business Unit Partners to help them understand their role in supporting the Privacy compliance framework and embedding compliance requirements in to the business.
Creating and delivering, where required, privacy training material and identifying subject matter expertise to deliver the training.
Providing support to any privacy-related Projects, from time to time, as required.
Assisting with the review and update of privacy policies, standards and procedures.
Assisting with working with the Privacy teams in other locations and businesses to identify best practice, provide advice and leverage current resources.
The successful candidate will benefit from having:
Knowledge or certifications in the subject of data privacy, in particular the GDPR.
Privacy, risk or compliance experience in large global financial organisations
Previous experience of investigating privacy breaches and advising on privacy compliance
Demonstration and application of analytical skills in solving complex privacy compliance matters and producing compliance reports
Experience of training business partners and presenting to multi-disciplinary audiences
Ability to influence the embedding of privacy compliance frameworks into business practices.
