The Relationship Manager is responsible for driving the overall client satisfaction experience with key client accounts, managing these accounts as his/her own "business." The successful candidate will possess a willingness to be hands-on and do what it takes to meet client objectives, the ability to assess resource needs and to coordinate various team and other internal resources to serve our clients.
Organise, schedule and lead all client calls and meetings and follow through to ensure all discussed topics are addressed and deadlines are made and met.
Responsible for driving the overall satisfaction experience within a group of assigned institutional client accounts, managing these accounts as his/her own "business".
Work with the Portfolio Management and Manager Selection team to deliver services that meet the clients' objectives and deliver superior investment returns to the end investor.
Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, product managers and designers to present new products and services to enhance client business
Provide training to the assigned client based on the client's contract details and attend regular client meetings.
Support the sales team and product management to help them understand the client and Morningstar contractual obligations.
Monitor and report to the clients, and internally, management information that reflects delivery of services compared to the contract terms. Define the KPIs for the clients and establish formal reporting.
Previous relevant client service experience within the financial services industry.
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both English and French.
Effective organisation and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail and self-motivation in an independent, fast-paced work environment.
Good understanding of mutual funds, financial and investment concepts, and the financial services industry, in general.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem solving skills.
Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree.
Experience of dealing with Platforms or National & Network accounts is desirable.
French speaking is desirable, but not essential.
