Joining our team as an experienced and skilled technologist, you'll provide business-facing support for Futures Trading and downstream platforms. Working directly with the Front Office and handling business stakeholders, you will collaborate with Developers and global operation teams on strategic projects across regions. Development delivery will be part of the opportunities available, and you will be actively involved in Agile, both Kanban and scrum sprints.
Your excellent, wide-reaching technical skills and your experience dealing with business customers to translate technology into business terms, will enable deep analysis and fast issue resolution. You will further develop your background in proactive identification of problems and solution implementation and build on your experience for handling incidents and problems to ensure healthy and stable environments.
You will also need the following skills:
experience of Operating Systems - competent with UNIX and Windows environments.
experience writing SQL queries and interacting with databases (Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server).
capability to interpret Java, UNIX/Shell Scripts and .Net for analysis is an advantage
good knowledge of ITIL & Agile tools and processes (e.g. Remedy, JIRA, Confluence) for Incident/Change/Problem management and project/development delivery would be beneficial.
good knowledge of health/alerting tools and tuning them to tighten environment control.
