Iconic, private equity backed retail and lifestyle goods business with a growing presence globally
My client is a high profile and iconic retail and lifestyle business backed by a global private equity investor. With a growing presence here in Australia and abroad, there is now an opportunity for an experienced corporate finance professional to join the team as a Corporate Development Manager reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. In support of the executive team, the Corporate Development Manager will play a key role in driving the firm's organic growth initiatives as well as designing & implementing the group's overall strategy with the view of optimising business performance. You will also provide the business planning, analysis and financial modelling required for initiatives such as geographic expansion, investment opportunities and other value-add projects as required by the senior leadership team.
Candidates will likely have between 4 and 6 years of M&A experience, ideally with experience in corporate advisory from either an investment bank, leading independent advisory firm or top tier CA firm. Candidates who have worked in an in-house M&A/corporate development role or consulting will also be considered. You will possess the appropriate technical & modelling skills, be able to demonstrate the ability to think commercially and show a high level of comfort in partnering with stakeholders of all levels of a business. This role represents a great opportunity for a first step into an active and varied corporate environment from banking / advisory.
Please note that applicants must have full working rights for Australia to be considered for this role.
