A global bank is looking to further develop their Enterprise Risk Team and has a senior level role on offer. In this position the successful person will support the continued development and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management strategy and framework. This will include active involvement in risk projects across the Bank and the Group and entail activities such as risk governance related projects, key risk reporting, analysis of emerging risks and strategic planning.

Help develop a robust Governance Framework to assist the Enterprise Risk Management Team drive the risk agenda across international operations in the business
Partner with functional areas, FLOD and SLOD, to ensure risk & compliance policies are appropriately deployed and policies are both understood and effectively applied
Assist in prioritising and driving completion of mitigation efforts and improvements in the control environment across the business lines, ensuring monitoring, escalation, and appropriate mitigation of identified exposures that exceed the Bank's risk appetite
Assist in the forecasting and analysis of new 'emerging risks' with potential reputational or strategic impact on the Bank
Prepare and provide senior management information and reports
Strong background in Financial Services and ideally in a compliance, risk or internal control role
Experience in developing and implementing risk initiatives and programs of work in a financial services environment
Exposure to Irish / EU / US regulatory environment an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Third level degree in a related academic field
