EY's Financial Service Office is currently on a strategic initiative to service our clients within the C-Suite by providing strategic investment banking dialogue to generate revenue across all offered Transaction Advisory Service lines. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Investment Banking professional with banking industry experience to leverage years of knowledge into a professional services firm environment.
The strategic advisory engagements would encompass areas strategic to the bank space including, but not limited to, strategic M&A options, franchise competitiveness and strategy, divestiture and restructuring, valuation, sale vs IPO, capital optimization, investor considerations, the strategic impact of regulatory regulations upon capital and liquidity, and balance sheet advisory. The candidate would leverage past investment banking experience to provide strategic advisory services offered across the TAS platform. The candidate would also be offering the ability to broaden TAS engagements by adding expertise in key execution elements and to identify and originate work for other service lines across the broader EY platform. Qualified candidates will be or have been at a VP level within Investment Banking and focused on the Banking sector.
A master's degree and at least 10 years of related work experience. VP level or above within Investment Banking focused on serving clients in the banking industry.
Extensive M&A execution experience.
Strong technical and quantitative skills; superior understanding of and ability to critique and evaluate financial analysis and modeling.
Solid experience with both identifying transactions and leading execution within the banking industry.
Ability to work directly with clients as the most senior team representative.
Strong project management, leadership, and teamwork skills
Strong communication skills
Willingness and ability to travel as necessary - up to 30%.
