We are currently recruiting for a Graduate / Junior Quantitative Analyst to provide research support to the company's liquidity-based asset allocation analysts and fund managers.
To provide research support to the company's liquidity-based asset allocation analysts and fund managers.
Activities to include:
To produce quantitative research on financial markets (equity, bonds, currencies, commodities, etc)
To maintain and update existing databases and run asset allocation models
To assist in the collection and compilation of input data
To assist in analysing data and developing new quantitative models, for example models to forecast risk (volatility and correlations)
Good university degree containing a substantial quantitative element (previous experience an advantage but not essential).
Knowledge of applied statistical analysis required.
Advanced Excel and VBA skills are essential.
Knowledge of R, Mat-lab or Python, and Datastream or Bloomberg is a distinct plus.
Commitment, ability to communicate and work in a small firm, intellectual skill, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, enthusiasm for financial markets as well as entrepreneurial spirit are vital for this position.
The candidate is expected to have or obtain FCA registration within 6 months.
