The Team: The S&P Global Platts Finance team primarily consists of New York and London based employees. The Team also regularly interacts with divisions of S&P Global Corporate.
The Impact: This position will work along-side the Finance Director to ensure all monthly financial reporting and analysis is delivered timely and accurately to facilitate decision making by management.

Responsibilities: Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the Product and Information Technology team
Partner with Product management team to prepare business cases for enhancements and new products
Assist in the preparation of the multi-year budgets and related sensitivity modeling
Manage financial planning and analysis and accounting
Manage project budgets and KPIs
Provide ongoing financial planning and analysis support to the Product and Information Technology team
Manage financial and operating metric tracking for key initiatives
Identify and track risks/opportunities on an ongoing basis
Assist with ad hoc requests, special projects for Platts senior finance leadership
Provide data and analysis during monthly close, estimate and annual budget processes.
Perform ad hoc analyses as requested in order to help management make informed decisions regarding the short and long term objectives of the business.
Provide thorough and accurate deliverables to Senior Management and SPGI Corporate.
What We're Looking For:. Basic Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related curriculum
3-5 years' work experience in financial analysis, consulting and/or advisory and/or private accounting/finance department
Strong skills in MS Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, IF functions, modeling) and PowerPoint, experience with ERP (Oracle Financials) and Cognos TM1 preferred Strong attention to detail and analytical ability with an inquisitive mind
Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a team
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
