Prepare and review legal agreements and other related documents including forms and declarations, marketing literature, product documents and sales materials, etc.
Managing and providing legal support to the board of directors
Liaise and coordinate with external legal advisors and internal parties
Review and feedback on the draft documents prepared by external counsels
Advise on proposals, policy terms & conditions of insurance products to ensure all are in compliance with regulatory requirements
Keep abreast of updated legislations in the industry
Handle ad-hoc projects on legal related matters if assigned
Manage legal and regulatory risk and protect the company's reputation and interests
Bachelor's Degree in Laws and above; qualified solicitor/ lawyer
Minimum 10 years' post qualification experience gained in commercial sectors
In-house legal counsel experience in insurance/financial industry is highly preferred
A good team player, strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive, able to work in fast paced environment independently
Analytical and detail-minded
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
