Identifies, analyzes, monitors, and completes control testing, controland risk education, and operational and risk support activities to thebusiness.
Will assist with and perform Information Technology based internalcontrol and SOX compliance reviews in accordance with professional standards toensure that internal controls are appropriately designed and operatingeffectively.
Develops professional quality documentation for evidence andsupport of control reviews performed.
Preparesreports and provides insight to business on control / risk management includingError / Near Miss analyses.
May assist with interpreting regulations in orderto adjust and improve internal controls.
Ensures that existing controlpractices and procedures are documented. Works with the business to understandthe controls currently in place to minimize risk.
Tests control systems andcommunicates the successful and efficient performance of control procedures.
Nodirect reports. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
Supportsmoderately complex projects and provides insight on interpretation ofregulations.
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and workexperience required 3-5 years of total work experience preferred. CISA, CIA orother relevant certification is a plus though not required. Experience in thesecurities or financial services industry is preferred.
