We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Finance Manager.
Lead a team which compile, review and analyse financial information within a short length of time for the purpose of regulatory reporting
Liaise with site finance and businesses to perform analytical review to ensure deliverables are in full compliance with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and regulatory reporting requirement and to align with business understanding
Analyze and develop a plan for a continuous work process improvement to meet the accelerated reporting schedules
Interpret new or revised regulatory reporting requirement and provide clear user requirement with other functions, such as IT, Risk, for meaningful information sourcing
Ensure a timely and quality production of regulatory reporting
Provide ad hoc analysis in respond to queries raised by HKMA, which are usually of short turnaround time.
Perform analytical review on deliverables and ensure the output is aligned with business understanding and compliance with reporting requirement.
Provide specialist expertise on accounting system design and contribute to downstream accounting and regulatory reporting flow.
Constantly liaise directly with global SPARC team, IT, Finance change teams as well as users for improvement of data management and control mechanisms to facilitate changes to the finance platform.
University graduate with experience in financial and regulatory reporting capacity in banking industry, preferably with professional accounting qualification
Sound knowledge of treasury products with strong capability in structured products and regional exposures are highly desirable
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work autonomously and maintain good self disciplines, interaction skill and confidence
Well organized, detail oriented, able to cope with tight deadlines under pressure
High degree of flexibility in adaption to changes
Strong ability to manage a massive volume of data and be proactive in work process improvement
Strong spreadsheet skills and preferably with knowledge on Access and VBA
Team player with good interpersonal skills
Excellent command of written and spoken English
