We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Planning and Analysis Manager.
The role is to provide business supporting, forward looking analysis, with a specific focus on impairment, regular and ad hoc forecasting and stress testing.
The role has important responsibilities around the coordination with country and Group business finance teams, and necessitates interaction with business stakeholders and cross finance and functional interaction.
Support the business by leading in the creation of an effective regional plan against which to assess performance
Lead in the provision of accurate and timely updates to business performance in the form of both formal and informal updates, identifying opportunities for the business to capitalize upon
Support the business through the creation and delivery of valued ad hoc analysis, on emerging themes such as customer growth, business efficiency and competitor analysis
Drive a consistent understanding across all Finance parties which includes Group, Region and Country, balancing the need to provide a coherent aggregated plan which meetings the requirements of specific business heads.
Leadership in the establishment of effective and productive relationships with the Global Financial Compliance team, looking for opportunities to offshore and ensuring prioritization to only business value supporting analysis.
Take personal responsibility for the team development, investing time to develop team members in both Hong Kong and India.
University level degree in a finance or a related discipline.
Proven track record in finance business support with practical experience and knowledge of the Retail Banking and Wealth Management businesses.
Pragmatic and flexible mindset to identify optimal solutions to ad-hoc challenges.
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide array of stakeholders.
